Black Youth Design Initiative Fund

Dean Dori Tunstall created the Black Youth Design Initiative (BYDI) Fund to develop programming which uses design’s confidence building in the Black capacity to Imagine, Make, and Connect to fight anti-Black racism.

By supporting the BYDI, you will help to fund activities like Blackreach for children 8-12 years old, a Summer Design Intensive for 7th-8th graders, STEAM+D high school design and science learning modules, the Portfolio Project on guidelines for excellence in Black aesthetics, and Black Entrepreneurial placement and incubator programs and programs that enable our Black students to flourish at OCAD U.
